The small, countryside towns of Provençe reminded Sandy of her hometown in China on the extreme southeast of the coast of the City Wen Zhou, Zhe Jiang Province -a waterfront town surrounded by mountains on three sides, Ocean on one side. Influenced by a trip to France and the fresh, flavorful meals she discovered there, Sandy Chen was inspired to open Le Sud.
